Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia is a model and actress. Her first role was as Pepper Steiger in Australia. The role she played in the 100-episodes of the soap show Neighbors that aired between 2006 and 2007 helped make her famous in Australia. The actress made her Hollywood debut with two projects. The first was Hollywood & Wine a choral comedic project where she was a young, aspiring actor. The 9th season Scrubs she appeared as Maya who is a very attractive medical student. The show was abruptly cut off. The next couple of years, the actress is expected to be working on a Farrelly brothers' comedy Good to shoot starring Jason Sudeiki's Owen Wilson. 2013 was the year she had the opportunity to take on more challenging tasks. She was featured in six episodes in the series detective Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular character in the web-based series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia.
