Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she was crowned American Idol in the first season. It brought her to fame and earned her a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. In the years since, she's released several studio albums. Three have reached the US Billboard 200 charts while other albums were just one or two inches away. She is among the top artists to have emerged from American Idol. She tried her hand at recognition for her various themes and musical styles. She often composed the songs herself. In recognition of her talent and individuality, she has received lots of praise as well as awards. She has been the most notable winner of three times the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her music career she has been featured in movies and TV shows. She is also the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charities.
