Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs in the One Direction band. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School was the founder of a band called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. Although he has always been interested in the world of music, despite his passion for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and an physiotherapist. For a while he worked as a part-time baker in the city he lived in to help people financially in the home. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they were among the finalist. They were however 3rd place, in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
