Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical series. Growing up with Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study acting at Tisch. However, very quickly she was engaged in the city's nightclub scene and made enough noise to get recognized by the media, simultaneously, she became aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. Then, she combined her fame and talent with her writing and composing skills in the production of a play titled Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered the job of MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side stopped running, she started acting in movies and on television, initially in short roles. As time went on, her work as an actor increased.
